Does the Township have a Park Board?
Yes - The Park Board advises the Town Board on matters of park acquisition and development, and oversees the development of the park system. The members also work with the Community Services and Recreation Department of School district #624 and the Township Public Works Department in determining park maintenance and usage policies.

Meetings of the Park Board are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Administrative Building Conference Room. The park board consists of seven members appointed by the Town Board. Terms are for three years, with appointments made in May.
